Robotic cookie alignment cell

A robotic cell with camera guidance that gently shifts and aligns cookies to ensure a stable packaging flow.

In this application, the robotic cell is used to shift and align cookies on the conveyor rather than pick them up. An industrial camera identifies the exact position of each cookie. The robot then performs small corrective movements, nudging the products into neat rows and lanes heading towards the packaging section.

Because the robot only moves the cookies instead of gripping them, the system is both fast and product‑friendly. Breakage is reduced, and the line remains stable even when the infeed pattern is irregular. Misaligned products are corrected automatically, limiting manual intervention.

The cell is compact, fully food‑grade and equipped with appropriate guarding for safe operation. A user‑friendly HMI allows operators to configure different formats and alignment patterns, making changeovers between cookie types quick and straightforward.

This installation demonstrates how Indurra combines robotics and vision technology to accurately position delicate cookies and deliver a smoother, more reliable packaging process.
