Robotic bread‑scoring cell

A robotic cell that scores bread products ergonomically, accurately and consistently using 3D camera technology.

This installation automates the scoring of bread using a robotic cell capable of delivering up to 220 cuts per minute. A 3D camera scans each dough piece to determine the exact cut location and depth, ensuring precise and repeatable results.

The camera captures position, shape and height variations in real time. Based on this data, the control system calculates the ideal cutting trajectory, which the robot follows with high precision. This guarantees consistent scoring patterns across all bread types.

For operators, the task becomes safer and far more ergonomic: a repetitive manual action is replaced by a controlled, user‑friendly cell where recipes and cutting patterns are easily selected.

The cell is built completely in food‑grade materials and was pre‑assembled and tested in our assembly hall, enabling fast and reliable commissioning on site.
