Portal stacker

A portal‑based stacker that automatically and accurately stacks products such as mats, carpets, cardboard and other non‑food items.

For this project, Indurra developed a portal stacker designed to automatically stack a wide range of flat products. The system is perfectly suited for non‑food materials including mats, carpets, cardboard sheets and similar items that require precise and consistent stacking.

The portal picks or guides each product into the correct position, allowing stacks to be built quickly, uniformly and with high repeatability. Supported by smart control technology from our automation team, the machine maintains reliable operation at high speeds and produces stable, uniform stacks even when product size or infeed conditions vary.

Our mechanical engineers created a robust and low‑maintenance design, while our sheet‑metal, welding and assembly teams ensured strong in‑house fabrication. Control systems and safety integration were executed entirely by Indurra, with optional connectivity to upstream or downstream processes.

This portal stacker demonstrates how Indurra uses intelligent automation to streamline repetitive handling tasks and support operators in achieving higher efficiency.
