Chicory sorting line

A high‑speed automated line that sorts, distributes and packages chicory in a fully food‑grade environment.

Indurra engineered and installed a fully automated chicory sorting line capable of processing 200 pieces per minute and feeding them directly into the packaging flow. The setup includes stainless‑steel conveyors, distribution modules and intelligent control systems designed to maintain a continuous and stable product stream.

Chicory is sorted based on predefined specifications and automatically routed to the correct packaging stations. The multi‑level layout with optimised conveyor paths ensures smooth and uninterrupted operation, even at high throughput.

Automation handles the coordination between sorting, transport and packaging, ensuring consistent performance. The entire line was pre‑assembled and tested in our own facilities, enabling a fast and seamless commissioning at the customer’s site.

This project highlights how Indurra integrates food‑grade engineering and advanced automation to deliver an efficient, ergonomic and future‑ready production process.
